Industry requirement in mobile communication

As the world wide mobile communication technology, GSM and WCDMA technology innovate continually from GSM/GPRS/EGPRS to UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+ etc. More and more new features are introduced that make the network and mobile phone become more and more complex. Currently for GSM and UMTS terminal, there are two different kinds of certification requirements in global market. One is mandatory requirement and the other one is operator requirements. Mandatory requirement includes EMC/SAR/Safety/RF testing. And operator requirement includes Conformance/IOT testing.

Status of accreditation and authorization
